Through the creation of art,
I express information hidden in the subconscious.
The act of connecting with the inner universe and drawing out creativity brings deep insights, regenerates the inner self,
and contributes to the growth of the soul.
And I believe that the works expressed from this process have the potential to resonate with people throughout the ages.
Takashi Terada's art is the one and only thing that comes from facing the essence of the present moment.
The moment when he forgets time and empties his mind by moving his hands and becoming absorbed in his work.
These moments are the purpose of his creations.
From his work, which gives form to invisible shadows and expresses the unspoken realm through various approaches, one can sense a universality that does not fade away or change in value over time.

Biography
SFXメイクアップスタジオに所属し映画.TV.広告の仕事に造形作家として多数携わる。
その後、生活の拠点をバルセロナへ移し、商業美術の世界から離れ、独自の創作活動を始める。
1994年、バルセロナで初めての個展(絵画)を開催。
帰国後は、静岡を拠点に創作中心の生活を始める。
2006年から木の魅力を引き出すことに重点を置いた作品で個展を多数開催。
独自のアートと向き合い続けて現在に在る。
He belonged to SFX make-up studio and was involved in many film, TV, and advertising projects as a plastic artist.
After that, he moved his base of living to Barcelona and started his own creative activities away from the world of commercial art.
In 1994, he held his first solo exhibition of paintings in Barcelona.
After returning to Japan, he began a creative life based in Shizuoka.
Since becoming fascinated with wood, he has held many solo exhibitions of his works, focusing on bringing out the charm of wood.
He has continued to confront with his own unique art form.
